Divination Dos and Don’ts

In conjunction with my manifestation journey, I have been recently exploring aspects of my spirituality. One of these aspects that ties particularly well to manifestation is the practice of divination. For those who are unfamiliar, divination is a method or attempt to gain further insight into a particular question or situation by way of traditionally occultic means. Divination can be accomplished through a variety of tools that have spanned generations, including pendulums, throwing bones, runes, scrying (seeing images in a crystal ball, flames, or other medium), and cards (both tarot and oracle). The latter tools have been particular favorites of mine, especially oracle cards, as they tend to be a little more straightforward than traditional tarot decks.

In its most basic (and often misunderstood) form, those who practice divination are believed to be able to see into the future. As manifestation is all about creating a new and desired future, then divination appears, on its surface, to be a very useful tool, right?

While this practice can help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your emotional state, and where your current life path may lead, there are many ways in which someone can misuse divination or turn it into a tool for self-sabotage and stagnation.
